Listen like a musician
Ten ways to listen to music: a musical safari for non-musicians
You love music, but you're not a musician? Maybe you want to just dip your toe in? Or you know someone who does?
Let me teach you to listen to music like a musician would. Open up the hidden dimensions behind how music works, simply by using your ears. I'll guide you through ten exercises, each time explaining a concept, showing some examples, and then challenging you to listen to your own music through this new lens.
You don't need skills, you don't need equipment, all you need is access to your own music and your ears.
Each lesson is approximately 5 minutes long, full of examples and demonstrations, and includes a little homework challenge for you. The whole course is about 1 hour long in total. But be careful... you might catch the music-making bug yourself!
It makes a perfect little gift for people in your life who love music, but maybe don't want to make it themselves (yet). Share the love!
Oscar from the Underdog Youtube channel will be your guide for this course!
He's constantly making content with the aim of making (electronic) music production as accessible as possible. He does this by tackling complex topics and breaking them down into terms everyone understands.
Also he's a big goofball, and tries to keep things positive and uplifting at all times.
